Description

Your Opportunity at ARC'TERYX:

You create and implement the content strategy for employee storytelling for the brand's global intranet launch.

From ideation to execution, you will work cross-functionally across the business to ensure alignment through all key touchpoints on our new internal communications platform, driving engaging storytelling strategy and content recommendations and tactics for a brand with an employee-first mindset.

You specialize in creating compelling content strategies and then executing them.

You know the nitty gritty about who/when/where/what is needed to create an engaging digital platform that employees choose to visit for information and inspiration.

  • Please note this is a temporary external contract role for a duration of 12 months.
  • This role can be hired remotely. Business operations occur in the PST time zone.

Meet Your Future Team:

  • The Brand Communications team works in lockstep together as well as crossfunctionally to bring the outside in, and the inside out. We focus on telling the right story to the right audience at the right time and are constantly adapting the team's way of working to support each other and meet our objectives. We are fiercely entrepreneurial, always rolling up our sleeves to try new things. We jump in as needed without being asked and are always looking for the next big story
  • Our team functions in a hybrid work model. We're in close touch virtually and come together to collaborate and support each other and the business.

If you were the Intranet Content Strategist - Contractor now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Collaborating with the Employee Communications Brand Communications Manager to create and execute global employee intranet content strategy, and then help implement and execute the plan
  • Conducting daytoday operations and content plans for the intranet
  • Creating weekly content overviews to be shared with leaders, internally and monthly content reports, tracking against engagement KPIs
  • Recommending new strategies and tactics as necessary, bringing a creative, outsidethebox way of thinking and doing things
  • Practicing agility and flexibility, but with the overarching goal of delivering a worldclass intranet experience for employees
  • Working with the creative team to ensure proper brand aesthetic and brand experience for employees
  • Managing a hybrid governance model to run the intranet; work collaboratively with global leads to ensure all necessary content is delivered promptly, and uploaded to the platform, aligning our internal messaging to our external messaging
  • Working in collaboration with the People and Culture team to ensure relevant conversations and considerations are integrated into everything we create, with a firm commitment to EDI, Sustainability, and our values
  • Partnering with the Employee Experience team on storytelling
  • Helping organize asset collection and delivery

Are you our next Intranet Content Strategist - Contractor?:

  • Experience building content strategies and executing the plan.
  • 5+ years' experience in communications, digital or brand marketing.
  • Knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies required to be successful to this role
  • You have led or supported planning for the creation, delivery, and governance of useful, usable, and effective content.
  • You are collaborative and great at working crossfunctionally, informing key stakeholders and bringing them along for the greater vision or objective.
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions.
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity.
  • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration.
  • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement.
  • You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right.
