- Assist senior mechanics in performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with trucks under the supervision of experienced technicians.
- Assist in the repair and replacement of truck components such as brakes, transmissions etc.
- Use tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical problems efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- Post Secondary education or equivalent in a related field.
- In the process of completing a technical training program to attain Class A (310S and/or 310T).
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge in automotive industry.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Good communication skills – written and verbal.
