Description

As a small clinic that specializes in prenatal and post-partum care with eight midwives, we are a close-knit group that is looking for someone who enjoys connecting with clients from all walks of life as well as managing the traditional MOA tasks.

As we are a mostly paper-free clinic, strong computer/technology skills are important as this position is often the "tech support" of the office.

This position is office-based for 28 hours/week (Monday to Thursday). Compensation starts at $23.00-$25.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Current vacancy is late December - March 2024, with likelihood of extension.


Responsibilities:

- scheduling appointments in the Accuro EMR
- managing client records
- ordering medical and office supplies
- organizing office supplies and stocking clinic rooms
- preparing slides and swabs
- general clinic organization


Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of general office procedures and computer software/tools
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to establish and maintain rapport with clients
  • Ability to work independently and be a selfstarter
  • Ability to work as a part of a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to appropriately triage tasks/requests

Education:


  • High School (mandatory)
  • MOA Certificate/Diploma (preferred)
