As a key member of the
Human Resources team, the
HR Generalist will be responsible for assisting with full-cycle recruitment, supporting HR Services, and staying on top of day-to-day HR operations
.

While each member of ECO Canada has individual responsibilities, ECO takes a team-based approach.

Everyone is encouraged to take ownership of their ideas and to see them through to completion, collaborating with key influencers as required.


Responsibilities

  • Assist the HR team with fullcycle recruitment by posting jobs, screening resumes, conducting prescreen interviews, and performing reference checks.
  • Provide support to the Human Resources department as requested by management, which can include data entry, file maintenance, and policy and procedure writing.
  • Assist with companywide engagement initiatives and programs.
  • Support all internal and external HRrelated inquiries or requests.

Qualifications

  • Great attitude and ability to maintain control while coordinating activities and balancing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent computer and technical skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills combined with an acute attention to detail.
  • Welldeveloped, independent work ethic along with the ability to communicate with the team and external parties.
  • Motivated selfstarter with a strong desire to learn and a willingness to adapt to a variety of situations.

Education and Experience

  • Postsecondary degree in Human Resources, or equivalent experience.
  • A high level of working knowledge in MS Office Suite, Adobe, and Canva.
  • Administrative experience in Human Resources.
  • French language skills are considered an asset.

This role is a temporary contract position until March 31, 2024
.


ECO Canada offers the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement (minimum 3 days per week at the Calgary office and the option to work remotely for the remaining 2 days).
