Service Manager Job Description
A service manager is responsible for executing successful catering events. This individual is a strong team leader with strong organizational skills and has a keen eye for detail.

As a team leader they are able to delegate tasks to ensure event timelines are being followed as well as provide high levels of hospitality and service to clients and attendees at all events.

A service manager needs to have a strong level of understanding about our branding, steps of service, booking policies and reservation systems.

Daily responsibilities

We always want to respond to guests within 24 hrs during the work week. We want to provide a sense of acknowledgement and care to all our guests.

  • Developing strong client and venue/vendor relationships.
  • Illustrating what sets Alo Catering apart from our competitors. Ensuring that the clients' needs are heard and we are providing the best service possible.
  • Creating BEOs, invoicing and following up with guests on our reservations system (TripeSeat) in a timely manner.
  • Communicating with the kitchen team about upcoming events and menu updates.
  • Printing menus and place cards for the service team.
  • Keeping up to date with the logistics for events at different venues. Ensuring that the proper service standards are being carried out by Alo or third party service providers.
  • Weekly meetings with the kitchen and service team.
  • Making sure the office is well organized and stocked with necessary supplies.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 34 per week


Salary:
From $45.00 per hour
