FULL TIME
70 Hours Bi-weekly| Non-Union | Days Shift
We're recruiting a Manager, Events Fundraising Operations to help deliver the Mattamy Homes Bike for Brain Health event, Ontario's largest cycling fundraiser, and Scotiabank Pro Am for Alzheimer's.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the Chief, Events, execute the strategy on fundraising operations for the implementation and execution of tools and best practices, including but no limited to reports and analysis for fundraising and recruitment campaigns.
- Effectively manage and steward inbound new business development opportunities and outbound gratitude and welcome programs.
- Provide holistic department support to ensure efficient and effective practices that advance Baycrest's revenue and engagement goals.
- Supporting the Chief and Stewardship Manager to deliver fundraising operations for the implementation and execution of tools and best practices that will build on the current foundation of fundraising processes, including but not limited to reports and analysis for all categories of revenue: direct mail, individual giving, major gifts, corporate (workplace campaign, grants, sponsorships, special events), and grants.
- Collaborate with and support the Events Team on key fundraiser or donor opportunities.
- Support the Events teams on communications, outreach, data management and project work as required.
- Identify any patterns or issues with the website, or other customerfacing experiences.
- Support our postcampaign thank you stewardship strategy.
- Support the Events Team with picking, packing, and mailing Bike for Brain Health items to our supporters and participants.
- Respond to adhoc requests as needed.
- Attending local events, where necessary, to give our fundraisers a remarkable experience, which can include occasional work at evenings and weekends.
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- A university degree or equivalent experience combined with at least 2 years in a fundraising role with proven experience executing innovative fundraising strategies and relationship management.
- Fundraising experience in health care environment preferred but not mandatory
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft suite of tools
- Experience with CSR suite of tools is an asset (Raiser's Edge NXT, Luminate, Black Baud, etc).
- Outstanding verbal, written, listening and presentation communication skills with the ability to communicate with ease and comfort in highly professional corporate and foundation environments.
- Strategic thinker/Strong analytical, organizational and problemsolving skills
