Looking for a new career opportunity? The Ellis is looking to add some awesome and hard-working persons to our BOH team We are looking for several key roles: a Prep Cook and a Lead/Supervisor Cook.

Come join a dedicated, professional team at our busy gastro-pub next to the famous Kitsilano beach.

We believe in expert customer service, delicious food and drink, and creating a fun, chill environment for our employees and guests alike.

We've been a neighborhood staple for years and a 2nd restaurant is in the works for this year


We specialize in traditional gastro-pub fare meets international comfort food, served with a wide selection of local rotating craft beer taps, and handcrafted fresh cocktails.

The team works hard, but we value down time and a work-life balance: a great bonus is we close every long weekend Monday Compensation is based on experience, Prep Cook will range $18-$21, and Lead Cook $22-$25, PLUS great weekly tip out from restaurant sales.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or other related fields
1-3 years in a BOH role, or other related fields
Passion for food and cooking techniques
Strong leadership qualities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
