Job Description:

What You'll Be Doing


The CIBC Infrastructure Team is focused on the needs of our clients and business partners and passionate about delivering centralized operational services through our strategic pillars of Run, Protect, Transform.

As a Consultant, Business Intelligence team member you will design and carry out the development of Infrastructure service related business intelligence reporting leveraging a wide variety of tools connected to multiple data sources.

The incumbent will assist in the resolution of routine and non-routine operational problems or issues by investigating, analyzing and providing an informed and independent opinion or recommendation on opportunities to optimize business intelligence for the benefit of our clients, employees, and shareholders.

How You'll Succeed- Reporting and Business Intelligence - Develop and update a suite of reports, cubes, and performance dashboards in order to provide senior management with high-level visibility into business performance.- Development - Building self-serve automation & BI capabilities using tools such as Excel VBA, Alteryx, ADO, Tableau etc.- Analyzing Business Requirements - Research and analyze specialized information and recommend solutions to issues and problems that arise during the ongoing operation of business.- Project Delivery - Lead projects of a moderate level of complexity to enhance and upgrade new and existing programs, products or services by researching relevant data and developing proposals and recommendations.- Relationship Management - Work with a variety of individuals and groups at various levels in a constructive and collaborative manner.

Work effectively as part of a team to contribute to achieving business objectives. Partner with Service leaders to visualize business performance and build business intelligence capability.

Who You Are- You demonstrate experience in having a process mindset and with Data analysis (Alteryx), BI Tools (Cognos, Tableau), data warehouses, data automation (VBA), data querying tools (SQL), experience with large data models/modelling and preparing data mapping and requirements specific to KPI's.- You put our clients first.
