Under the direction of the Senior Manager, System Operations, the Cloud Operations Administrator is responsible for administering enterprise-wide Microsoft Azure solutions.
They provide input into the design and implementation of Microsoft Azure cloud solutions. They design, develop, implement and maintain the Azure Infrastructure, conduct post installation activities such as reviews, changes and maintenance. They monitor and report on usage as it relates to billing, security, and resource allocation.QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**College diploma or certificate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field AND several years of experience in Cloud systems design, implementation, management and support
Azure Cloud Certification, an asset
Experience
In administering and automating MS Azure and M365 platforms
In design and implementation of Infrastructure as a service (IaaS), Software as a service (SaaS) and Platform as a service (PaaS) solutions
In native and Azure Active Directory Administration
In SharePoint, Teams, Office 365, OneDrive for Business, and Flow
In Microsoft Server operating systems (OS) administration and maintenance
In MS Exchange implementation, management and support - On Prem and Cloud
In virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V
In network architecture, redundancy, Disaster Recovery (DR) failover, SaaS & DBaaS
In server administration scripting using Powershell
In IM/IT protocols
In cyber security and best practices
In execution of regular systems health monitoring
In production environments containing Microsoft stack (Windows, IIS)
In working with high availability and disaster recovery solutions

This position is a one-year term.
This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the _CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy_, and with approval from the direct manager.
