BDA Inc. has grown from its humble beginnings to a staff of over 75, with projects valued at over $50 million.The site Supervisor will be pro-active, have good planning, leadership and problem solving skills. Responsible for managing and coordinating all on-site elements of projects including Health and Safety for the job site.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of construction drawings, specifications and schedules for the ICI industry and have experience with projects that range from $5M $20M with no less then 5 years as a construction site supervisor in charge of the entire project.
- Supervising, scheduling and coordinating workers, subcontractors, suppliers and equipment as required ensuring the project is completed on schedule and budget.
- Liaise with project managers, designers, engineers, clients and governing authorities to achieve the scope of work.
- Ordering materials and supplies.
- Problem solve jobsite issues quickly and effectively in order to keep work on track and on time; manage and document job cost extras for review by the Project Manager.
- Follow fiscal policy set by Management.
- Conduct site meetings as required.
- Provide daily site and weekly safety reports; conduct safety talks.
- Ensure work is done in compliance with all IHSA Regulations and all applicable health & safety policies and procedures.

ASSETS
- Red seal trade journeyman certificate
- Experience with COR
- Proficiency with gantt charts and basic software, ie excel/word/project
- Gold Seal certificate
- IPAC certification
- Experience with new builds is a must for this role
