Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice, administrative support and information services.

The Assembly is an autonomous employer, separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.


The Precinct Services department is seeking three dedicated, collaborative, and efficient individuals for the for one auxiliary full-time and one auxiliary as-and-when Cleaner positions.


Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, Cleaning, the Cleaner is responsible for general housekeeping duties and maintaining the cleanliness of designated areas in accordance with established daily cleaning schedules.

This position completes all tasks required to meet cleaning standards as set out by Legislative Facility Services including but not limited to the following:
Floor care in offices, kitchenettes and common areas including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and spot cleaning, as required.

Qualifications

Applicants must have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' work experience in commercial cleaning.
  • Completion of Building Service Worker Levels 13 courses.
