    Job Responsibilities

    Canada Post is anticipating openings for students to work in the following area of business:

  • Engineering
  • Fleet Management/Operations
  • Below are the main job requirements and responsibilities

    Develop processes and related process maps and procedures for common fleet tasks and business rules
    - Analyze inventory data to optimize purchases nationally
    - Analyze telematics data and reports to help optimize vehicle usage

    Qualifications

    Education

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program
  • Specific education and year of study may be required depending on the student role
  • Experience

  • No experience required
  • Other Candidate Requirements

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) Sharepoint, HTML, Database(Maximo)
  • Adaptable: ability to work effectively in different situations and/or with different people
  • Excellent written / verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Various technical skills based on business area requirements
  • Various linguistic profiles dependent on position
  • Mechanical aptitude; familiarity with automotive parts
  • Good organizational skills

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for the Summer Student Employment program, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Study in one of the Corporation's areas of business mentioned above
  • Have completed your first year of University, College or Cégep, and
  • Be enrolled for the following year
  • Note: You may be asked to provide documentation to support the above-mentioned criteria.
