Audio Visual Technician - Regina, Canada - INLAND AUDIO VISUAL LIMITED

Minimum Qualifications:
The technician should have:
i) Basic computer skills.
ii) An understanding of audio equipment.
iii) Video and data signal connectivity and troubleshooting for all of the above.
iv) Grade 12 Education or post-secondary education.
v) A valid driver's licence, including drivers abstract.
vi) No criminal record.
Position function:
i) Assists with the delivery, setup and dismantling of a wide variety of audiovisual Equipment.
ii) Ensures that company procedures and policies are adhered to. Including our dress code, this conforms to our venue partner policies and company conservative brand.
iii) Is responsible for the care, control and security of company property including audiovisual equipment, recorded materials and vehicles.
iv) Deals with the customer at point of service.
Organization Summary:
Reports to the Operations Manager, Rental Co-ordinator or Senior Technician on-site and takes direction from same.
Working Relationships:
Works with other rental technicians under the direction of the Operations Manager, Rentals Co-ordinator and the Senior Technician on-site to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of audiovisual equipment and related services.
Work Performed:
The Technician is responsible for:
i) Loading and unloading audiovisual equipment into and out of company vehicles.
ii) Delivery and pickup of audiovisual equipment.
iii) The setup and dismantling of a wide variety of audiovisual equipment including computer and video projection equipment, sound reinforcement equipment, audio and video recording equipment.
iv) Cleaning equipment with approved methods and examining the equipment to ensure its functionality prior to it being placed back into its proper place in the warehouse.
v) Overtime as required.
vi) Other duties as assigned.

Salary:
$18.00-$25.00 per hour
