The techs report to the Service Manager and strive to offer industry leading service to our customers, whether in the shop or in the field.

We are seeking an Agricultural Equipment Technician or Apprentice for the Topline Trailer & Equipment store located on Hwy 31, north of Winchester.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Repair and assemble equipment
• Perform diagnostic tests on engines and equipment
• Record work performed and pass on such records in a timely manner
• Identify additional deficiencies (if any) and bring them forward to consider repair
• Doublecheck own work completed against original repair request for accuracy & completion
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance
• Keep work station tidy
• Maintain shop equipment
• Mentor apprentice technicians as needed

• Operate forklift

• AFTER onsite training
• Responsibly use company owned tools, reporting on any issues
• Adhere to workplace safety policies, procedures and OHSA
• Delivery of equipment when needed
• Available to participate in supplier online or onsite technical training programs.
• All other duties as assigned in the course of a work day

Skills/Experience:

• Licensed or Apprentice Agricultural Equipment Technician preferred
• Previous experience working with agricultural, heavy or construction equipment desired
• Analytical and interested in solving customer problems
• Independent and able to make corrective decisions while having a strong team ethic
• Willingness to use digital work order software
• Able to lift and move, climb in and go under, pieces of equipment within job context
• Must have own set of tools and safety boots
• Minimum class "G" Driver's License
• Available participate in supplier on line or on site technical training programs.

Hours of Work:

8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday; 8:00am-12:00pm, every other Saturday
