Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced QuickBooks expert/consultant to guide us through the entire process of replacing NetSuite. We need help with assessment & recommendation of version of QuickBooks best suited for our growing food & beverage company.Phase 1 – Assessment & Recommendation Advise on which version of QuickBooks (QuickBooks Online vs Desktop / Enterprise) is best suited for: A growing food & beverage company Inventory management with 38 barcoded products (and growing) Cost of goods sold (COGS) Scalability as the business grows Review our current workflows and recommend best practices in QuickBooks Phase 2 – Data Migration from NetSuite Export and transfer data from NetSuite to QuickBooks including Chart of accounts Customers & vendors Products & inventory Historical transactions (as appropriate) Ensure data accuracy and reconciliation after migration Phase 3 – QuickBooks Setup Configuration Set up Quickbooks properly for a food beverage business Configure: Inventory tracking Barcodes SKUs COGS Sales tax if applicable Set up credit card processing so we can accept payments operate seamlessly Ensure system easy use small team currently only need users Required Experience Skills Proven expertise quickbooks online enterprise Experience working food beverage manufacturing inventory-heavy businesses Prior experience migrating net suite quick books similar erp quick books migrations Strong understanding inventory barcodes cogs Ability explain technical concepts clearly non accountants Nice have Experience integrating quick books payment processors Experience optimizing quick books growing businesses CPA accounting background not required but plus Project Type One time project potential ongoing support Budget Open hourly fixed proposals please include your recommendation estimate Contract duration months hours week Mandatory skills Intuit quick books Accounting Basics
