Arctic Chiller is looking for an accredited Food Safety professional to join our team.

Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the QA Manager, the SQF Coordinator will be responsible for implementing, managing, directing, and supervising the HACCP and SQF Programs.

The right person for this role will work in collaboration with all employees in our Sherwood Park location to ensure regulatory compliance while establishing and maintaining industry certification.

Responsibilities include:

Maintain SQF Certificate
Conduct internal and external audits including followups of noncompliance.
Develop, maintain and update the SQF documents.
Assist in strengthening the training program (plant audit and employee meetings).
Perform and track training of employees on policies and procedures.
Organize the performance meeting of quality systems and management reviews.
Establish and maintain records and files including document controls.
Prepare accurate and concise reports and recommendations.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of SQF Certification.
Bachelor's Degree in Food Sciences or related field is an asset
Experience in a food manufacturing/safety environment
Experience in implementing and managing quality control and continuous improvement policies and procedures.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) including tables and forms.
Experience in internal audits of Food Safety and Quality Systems
Selfmotivated with excellent interpersonal skills.
An organized problemsolver, able to prioritize effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
