Job summary
The Campus Dispatcher will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the SFU Burnaby campus. This individual is responsible for receiving and responding to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing timely and accurate information to ensure a quick and efficient response.- Respond to incoming telephone calls, including emergencies involving medical, fire, police, and other urgent matters.
- Maintain composure in high-pressure situations, providing clear and concise communication to both callers and responders.
- Manage non-emergency calls offering information or directing callers to proper resources.
