Description

We are looking for an experienced
VFD and Electrical Production Manager to join our team of professionals.

What you will be doing:

Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
Monitor production to resolve issues.
Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel.
Determine amount of necessary resource's, personnel, and materials.
Enforce health and safety precautions.
Achieve a good working relationship with CSA and UL and work with their standards and requirements

What we need from you:

Graduate of Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Technologist or Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrical
Experience working with controls
Valid Driver's License
Project Management experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in Industrial Automation
Knowledge of VFD, Servo and DC Drives
Thorough knowledge and experience commissioning VFD and DC Drives
Experience with AC Servos, an asset
Medium Voltage VFD experience, an asset
PLC/HMI programming experience an asset
Rockwell PLC/RSLogix, Siemens, Schneider, Mitsubishi, and Omron
Experienced setting up, commissioning and troubleshooting DeviceNet, ControlNet and Ethernet/IP networks
Instrumentation experience
Must have effective and professional communication skills, verbal and written, with ability to converse to other technical people and engineers
Ability to work efficiently and reliably with mínimal supervision (project management)
Must be able to work throughout Canada and the USA, if required
Must be able to work the occasional overtime and/or be available for oncall rotation, if required
Experience working with MS Office, with SharePoint and Access an asset
