  • We are a wellestablished hospital located in beautiful Barrie, Ontario. Just 1 hour north of Toronto, Barrie is surrounded by lakes, skiing, golf, and beautiful cottage country. We are seeking an
- _Associate Veterinarian_ to join our team. We are a 12-doctor AAHA certified practice, which is Feline friendly, and most of our staff are Fear Free Certified. New Grad? No problem, we have experienced vets allowing for mentorship opportunities.
  • We offer a broad range of small animal services, including rehabilitation, acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine, fish medicine, and bee medicine. We have a special interest in reproduction with hospital progesterone, transcervical insemination, and frequent csections. We also have ready access to inhouse ultrasound and orthopedics. We are very well equipped with an underwater treadmill, Idexx lab, 2 Ultrasound machines, digital xray, dental xray, 8 exam rooms, 1 comfort room, and 1 special procedures room. We encourage our doctors to find a special interest that we can help you pursue.
Our doctors work a 4 day week on average. There is consistency in the schedule to ensure a proper work-life balance.

Each doctor works with a dedicated exam room assistant for their entire shift, which allows the administrative weight to be lifted so more time can be focused on client services.

Our support staff is amazing We have a full complement of Registered Veterinary Technicians as well as a number of very experienced assistants.

We have a huge focus on having fun, being collaborative, supportive and providing learning opportunities to all staff members.
