    Role Description

    The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a strategic partner to our practice leaders, providing expertise and support in all areas of human resources management. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's objectives and promote a culture of high performance and employee engagement. In this key position, they will work closely with corporate staff and clinical managers to ensure seamless integration of HR processes and support the growth and development of clinic operations. The HRBP holds strategic decision-making power and collaborates closely with senior leadership to implement the organization's vision.

    Key Responsibilities:

    As the HR Business Partner, your role will include:

    • Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute HR strategies that support the organization's goals and objectives.
    • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on a wide range of HR issues, including performance management, conflict resolution, and employee relations.
    • Talent Acquisition and Retention: Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process. Develop initiatives to enhance employee retention and engagement.
    • Performance Management: Implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms. Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance improvement strategies.
    • Training and Development: Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and competencies. Coordinate training sessions and workshops on topics such as leadership development, diversity and inclusion, and compliance.
    • HR Policy and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations. Develop and update HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices and mitigate risk.
    • Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives to foster a positive work culture and enhance employee engagement. Organize team-building activities, recognition programs, and employee surveys to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • HR Metrics and Reporting: Track HR metrics and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Prepare regular reports for senior management on key HR metrics and trends.

    Skills, and Abilities

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding innovative solutions to complex HR challenges.
    • Solid understanding of HR metrics and analytics, with the ability to leverage data to drive informed decision-making.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to delivering results.
    • This is a full-time position.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a human resources role, with demonstrated expertise in HR best practices and Ontario employment law compliance.
    • Proven experience as an HRBP or similar role, with a track record of partnering with business leaders to drive organizational success.
    • Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., CHRP, CHRL) is not required, but is an asset.
    • Experience working in healthcare is an asset.
    • Experience working with Power Pay and Dayforce is an asset.
