Responsible for the coordination, ownership and execution of key administrative functions associated with supporting the manufacturing process, including; manufacturing documentation support, manufacturing process support and materials administration.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Support the Application Engineers, Technicians and Product Support personnel who request SAP materials and BOM creation for orders.
- Maintain methods, operation sequence, and processes in the manufacturing or fabrication of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
- Perform trouble shooting analysis on BOM errors, routing errors and system data errors.
- Interface with Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Application Engineering, Production Control and Production Leaders.
- Add/create new part numbers in production and inventory systems (AS400 and SAP).
- Process order change notices (OCN's) and Engineering change notices (ECN's).
- Process daily output reports as needed.
- Create and/or correct Bills of Materials (BOM's) and routers.
- Create and maintain inventory records.
- Handle daily tasks/projects as assigned by supervisor.
- Provide guidance and research part problems related to BOM's for all functional departments.
- Provide back up for dimension drawing creation and NC programming as skills develop.
- Observe safe working practices.
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Assist in other roles as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of College Diploma. Diplomas in mechanical or electrical technology will be preferred.
- 3 years of experience of data entry; AS400 experience and search functionality specific to MCC and VFD products preferred.
- 3 years of experience creating/maintaining BOM's in a manufacturing system.
- Thorough knowledge of product structure and experience in manufacturing environments using computer based Bill of Materials and computer based shop floor control.
- Proficient and comfortable using various computer software programs
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- AutoCad experience.
- NC programming for metal fabrication.
- SAP experience.
$25.00-$32.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Cambridge, ON N1R 5X1

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Manufacturing
3 years (preferred)
