POSITION OVERVIEW and RESPONSIBILITIES:
At Royal Machine Solutions, we adhere to a philosophy of two second lean, a continuous improvement methodology. As a manager, you will be expected to encourage and develop this lean culture at all times. This includes following the principles of two second lean yourself and holding employees accountable for adhering to these ideas.
TASKS INCLUDE:
- Oversee the daytoday operations of the office, including the administrative, marketing, and HR tasks
- Work with shop managers to develop efficient manufacturing procedures and track employee adherence to the RMS lean culture
- Develop short, medium, and longterm solutions to office practices and procedures with a focus on continuous improvement
- Provide guidance to administrative and marketing assistants in their daily tasks, including training when necessary
- Administrate employee benefits program
- Conduct invoicing practices organize quotes, customer POs, sales orders; review time and materials for invoicing; and create invoices using Quickbooks Desktop
- Provide some IT support when needed
- Answer telephone calls from customers, government agencies, and business associates
- Various tasks as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with Two Second Lean/Lean Manufacturing Principles
- Experience Managing Operations of 20+ People
- Experience using QuickBooks Online
- Experience using Indeed for Employers
- Familiar with Adobe Suite (Photoshop and Premiere) / Photo and Video Editing
- Knowledge of Facebook and Instagram for marketing purposes
- Basic knowledge of Google Ads and Google Analytics would be an asset (creating and organizing campaigns, building ads, setting up conversions, analyzing data)
- Well organized

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Office Management: 5+ years
Microsoft Office: 5+ years
Quickbooks Online: 3+ years
Google Ads: 1+ years
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Completion of Post-Secondary Business Administration or Equivalent Program
COMPENSATION:
- Dependent on skill and experience
- Benefits offered following the successful completion of the probationary period

$30.00-$45.00 per hour
