Pharmacy Assistant/technician - Langley, Canada - Fraser medicine centre and pharmacy

Description

Job Tasks:

• Patient greeting and confirmation of the accuracy of all pertinent prescription information before filling,
• Data entry of patient care information into Kroll (MUST REQUIRED)
• Third-Party adjudication (if necessary),
• Accurate dispensing of prescription medications,
• Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems,
• General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary,
• Handling customer prescription pick up,

- serving customers at the drop-off and cash register


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant
• Able to work in a fastpaced environment

- excellent organizational skills and detail orientation;
- strong communication skills;
- demonstrated customer service experience;
- strong motivation to succeed;
- proficient computer/data/entry skills.
- knowledge of Kroll software

• Great Communication skills

Salary:
$19.00-$25.00 per hour


Experience:

• Pharmacy technician: 1 year (required)
