Who Are We Looking For?


Neptune Technology Group Limited is currently searching for an energetic, dedicated, and self-reliant individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

As a Finance Manager at Neptune, you will play a pivotal role in our Canadian operations, leading our financial planning and analysis efforts.

This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the financial trajectory of our business through insightful analysis and strategic support.

This is an intermediate-level position where successful incumbents can make significant contributions and gain valuable experience.


Job Duties:


  • Manage and mentor a team of financial professionals, including at least one analyst.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations leadership to develop project budgets and support new business initiatives.
  • Generate and analyze financial forecasts (annual, quarterly, and monthly) for the Canadian business.
  • Conduct financial modeling to understand and communicate key business variables such as margins and other KPIs.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to share insights and foster knowledge sharing within the organization.
  • Actively participate in global initiatives to implement new FP&A software and streamline reporting.
  • Act as a leader within both the finance team and the broader organization, emphasizing consistency, transparency, and effective problemsolving.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Familiarity with financial systems (e.g. PowerBI, Oracle FCC, Adaptive) and leveraging Business Analytics tools and dashboards
  • Humble leader who works well cross functionally with strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Process improvement mindset/skillset
  • Proven attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Role is Hybrid/Remote, part of the week in office and part flexible
  • Previous experience with SAP is an asset
  • Pursuing financial designation such as CPA/CFA or equivalent
  • Expert Excel proficiency (pivottables, V-Lookups, Sumif's and other related functions)
