Job Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for physical examinations and surgical procedures
- Perform minor skin procedures independently
- Assist physicians with more complex dermatologic procedures
- Maintain efficient patient flow and meet expectations regarding punctuality and care
- Prepare requisitions and process specimen collection
- Perform post-procedure wound care and dressing changes
- Educate patients on post-procedure care, skin health, and treatment plans
- Maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked exam and operating rooms; assist with clinic housekeeping as needed
- Conduct follow-up phone calls with patients regarding care, recovery, or questions
- Assist administrative staff with phone calls, referral triage, and patient bookings
- Receive, review, and process pathology and lab reports
- Contact patients with results and coordinate referrals as required
- Provide consultations for cosmetic treatments and medical aesthetic services
- Educate patients on medical-grade skincare products, treatment plans, and home care routines
- Support skincare product recommendations and cosmetic service education aligned with patient needs
- Perform other duties as trained and assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- LPN Certificate from an accredited professional licensing body
- Prior medical clinic experience is a key qualification
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and EMR systems
- High attention to detail with a strong level of accuracy
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Familiarity with dermatology procedures, tools, and equipment is an asset
- Strong time-management, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Interest or experience in skincare services, cosmetic treatments, and medical-grade skincare products is a strong asset
- Willingness to learn and grow knowledge in cosmetic dermatology and skincare
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
