We are currently on the lookout for a new addition to our Receiving Team. If you are interested in the automotive field and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment this may be the job for you
Our Cornwall, ON distribution center supplies automotive parts and accessories to stores across Ontario and Quebec.
The Warehouse Receiver role is critical in supporting these essential businesses as they are responsible for processing all incoming product in preparation for distribution.
- Aptitude in basic writing and mathematics
- Excellent organizational skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Proven ability to work unsupervised and independently
- Be comfortable with frequent lifting (between 50lbs and 70lbs)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of automotive parts is an asset, but not required
- Forklift experience is an asset, but not required
- Previous warehouse receiving experience is an asset, but not required
- The Warehouse Receiver position is a physical role that requires walking and/or standing for the length of a shift in addition to lifting, receiving and restocking._
Key Responsibilities
- Unload pallets / skids of parts and accessories
- Verify product received matches order (product type, quantities, etc.)
- Perform spotcheck quality control of received product prior to placing in inventory (report any damaged product received to Supervisor)
- Accurately and efficiently stock shelves (rotating product when required)
- Maintain inventory ratios, placing excess product into overstock when necessary
- Maintain accurate count of inventory received and record where it has been stored (overstock, etc.)
- Follow daily inventory control procedures and participate in inventory counts when needed.
- May be required to operate forklift and/or other lifting or towing devices (training will be provided)
- Other duties as assigned

Potential combined wage of $20.75/hour.

Schedules can be 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week from Monday to Friday (weekends off and not required to work) with flexible shifts/hours to meet your personal needs.

Our full-time Team Members who have completed 3 continuous months of service are also eligible for a Line of Credit.
