Manager, Business Analyst


What is the opportunity?


In this role, you will partner with the Regulatory, Strategy and Delivery (RSD) team, various functional partners and IT to assess, research, analyze and document business and systems needs in order to resolve business systems and/or process issues by recommending business solutions that meet sponsor/stakeholder needs.


What will you do?

  • Perform stakeholder analysis to identify impacted or influencing groups and stakeholder requirements responsibilities
  • Develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of detail and accuracy of estimates
  • Manage risks, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties
  • Define the business analysis approach including tasks and deliverables based on the project and delivery methodology
  • Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review
  • Provide facilitation services to business stakeholders including partnering within third party vendors and assisting in the evaluation of thirdparty vendor solutions and requirements
  • Prepare, review and support requirement validation and sign off utilizing a variety of facilitation and communication techniques

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • 5+ years of Personal and/or Commercial banking experience
  • 3+ years of related work experience as a Business Analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of requirements management on large and complex projects
  • Proven experience with various project delivery methodologies including Iterative Waterfall and Agile
  • Key Behaviours: Leadership, Entrepreneurial mindset, Growth mindset
  • Key Capabilities: Analytical Thinking, Design Thinking, Communication, Stakeholder Engagement, Business knowledge, Business Analysis Concepts & Technologies

Nice-to-have:


  • Experience with data mapping
  • Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, SQL)
  • Strategy acumen
