Established in 1998, St.

John's International Airport Authority (SJIAA) is a private, not-for-profit corporation that exists to provide a safe and efficient transportation facility that is a catalyst for economic growth at Newfoundland and Labrador's premier gateway.

Approximately 70 per cent of all non-resident visitors who travel by air to and from the province do so through the St.

John's International Airport.


Accountabilities

Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure and Planning, the Manager, Infrastructure will provide both technical and managerial leadership to the electrical and building maintenance departments to ensure the execution of preventive maintenance and to effectively respond to breakdowns and disruptions.

The Manager will coordinate the planning and delivery of the small capital sustaining program and will provide operational and maintenance input into the larger overall capital program.

The Manager will establish consultative working relationships with key stakeholders; work closely with internal and external customers; and contribute technical insight and leadership expertise to the business planning process that will maintain and improve the performance of SJIAA as a world class international airport.
