Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Pro Shop Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing retail sales, and assisting customers with product selections. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual skills and experience with retail or technical sales are highly valued to enhance the customer experience and support our diverse clientele.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs in the pro shop area
• Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
• Conduct product demos and provide knowledgeable recommendations on merchandise and equipment
• Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the shop area is clean and welcoming
• Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and product organization
• Provide information about golf or sporting equipment, accessories, and related services
• Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing excellent phone etiquette and support
• Support promotional activities and participate in store merchandising initiatives

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customers
• Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or technical sales preferred
• Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills for transactions
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment
• Ability to perform product demonstrations and upselling techniques confidently
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
• Familiarity with merchandising standards and retail operations is advantageous

Contract length: 7 months

Pay: $22.00 per hour
