As
Group Manager II, HR Operations,
Leave Administration and Workplace Accommodations, you would be supervising a gamut of high-risk activities that ranges from medium to long term timeframe.


In a typical day, you will:

  • Lead a large team with both a team manager and individual contributors and direct reports and mentor them in performing leave administration or workplace accommodation functions and activities seamlessly and timely
  • Act as a consultant to business partners in HR, Technology, and Finance by monitoring services and delivering optimal customer service nationwide
  • Identify and recommend key opportunities and liaise with system support to oversee the execution, testing and implementation of improvements or new processes, technologies and operating models
  • Act as the highest point of contact in identifying, managing and mitigating risks by staying knowledgeable about processes, emerging trends, and evolving regulatory requirements to protect the interests of the organization
  • Build the value and expertise of team by providing both leadership in hiring process, addressing challenges, reviewing performances and providing development opportunities to achieve common goals
  • Build positive, diverse and open work environment by continually improving the efficiency, sharing deep knowledge and skills, and encouraging the team to deliver results
  • Be the brand ambassador for your team, bank, industry and community #LI-Hybrid

Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree, ideally in Human Resources or a related field
  • Over 7 years of related experience in a fastpaced environment, ideally 3 or more years as a people manager for a large team, including a blend of individual contributors and other managers
  • Advanced knowledge of business processes and operations, risk, change and project methodologies, organizational practices and business transformation
  • A strong team leader who can negotiate and influence key partners including employees
  • Aptitude in exercising sound judgment while making decisions and handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in both oral and written form
  • Experience managing leaves and/or workplace accommodations is ideal
  • Familiarity of TD's Workplace Accommodation and Leaves policies is an asset
