What a typical day will look like

• Follow crew leader instructions in order to complete projects on time and according to specifications
• Plant, Maintain flower beds, laying mulch and soil
• Weeding manually around flowers or by applying vinegar
• Use different equipment to cut grass, hedge trimming and other tasks
• Load / unload truck with crew leader or other crew members
• Report any issues to the crew leader

For a perfect match

• High school diploma
• 1-year experience in grass and turf (preferred but not required)
• Be physically fit and have great endurance.
• A driver's license with a good driver's record is an asset but not required
• Ability to use and maintain equipment safely and responsibly
• Execute verbal instructions, read labels and signs
• Ability to work independently with little supervision, and as a team
• Speak French and/or English

Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM
8 hours excluding lunch

Responsabilités

• Suivre les instructions du chef d'équipe afin de terminer les projets à temps et selon les spécifications
• Planter, Entretenir les massifs de fleurs, poser du paillis et de la terre
• Désherbage manuel autour des fleurs ou en appliquant du vinaigre
• Utiliser différents équipements pour couper le gazon, tailler les haies et autres tâches
• Charger/décharger le camion avec le chef d'équipe ou d'autres membres de l'équipe
• Signaler tout problème au chef d'équipe

Pour un accord parfait

• Diplôme d'études secondaire
• Expérience d'un an dans le gazon et le gazon (souhaité mais non obligatoire)
• Être en bonne forme physique et avoir une grande endurance.
• Un permis de conduire avec un bon dossier de conduite est un atout mais n'est pas obligatoire
• Capacité à utiliser et à entretenir l'équipement de manière sûre et responsable
• Exécuter des instructions verbales, lire des étiquettes et des panneaux
• Capacité à travailler de manière autonome avec peu de supervision et en équipe
• Parler français et/ou anglais
