Financial Associate Analyst
As the Financial Associate Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting and documenting financial analyses and provide day-to-day financial support, including reporting and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the financial planning activities and preparation of 6 budgets annually
- Provide support for the monthly P&L forecasts
- Prepare assigned daily/monthly reports detailing business KPIs and financial P&Ls. Ensure all timelines are met for all reports
- Prepare and perform monthly reclass and accrual journal entries
- Identify billing errors, coding errors and offer support in resolving them
- Analyze monthly variances against budget and prior year results
- Drive continuous process improvements to ensure that best practices are followed
To Succeed, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Working towards CPA an asset
- 12 years of related work experience
- Ability to analyze data, determine variances, and identify potential issues
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel use of pivot tables, vlookups, and basic formulas
- Ability to manage tasks and meet monthly deadlines
- Good project and process management skills
- French is considered an asset
