Job Description:
G2 Gas Technician.

Go Industries is looking for a

Hamilton area. This is a great opportunity for a licensed gas technician that is looking for a rewarding career.

Responsibilities:

Study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the installation and materials required.
Measure and mark reference points for the installation of gas lines and equipment.
Install and maintain gas meters and regulators and gas lines between the gas unit and the gas meter.
Install, maintain, and service gas heating units and their components, such as burners, valves, and automatic controls.
Test and replace defective equipment or components.
Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gasdetecting devices.
Prepare reports on work performed and the condition of facilities.
Advise clients regarding standards, safety features, and maintenance of gas units and systems.
May repair and service gas appliances and related equipment.
Will be required to install but not be limited to furnaces, Ac units, tankless water heaters, boilers, ductless mini splits, and heat pumps.
Must be able to complete ductwork transitions and fabrications independently.

Qualifications:

Gas Technician Experience with a G2 License.
Driver's License with clean driver's abstract.
Possess strong customer service skills.
Ability to service clients in a 24/7 environment with oncall responsibilities.
Proven computer literacy skills.
