    Requirements:


    Education :

    BSEE
    Experience : 5+ years

    Hands-on experience in one or more areas of analog or digital IC design or verification (analog experience a plus).

    Introduction:

    Work with Cadence's global IC design team that is designing semiconductor IP for the top electronic product companies in the world.

    The vast majority of the design activity is taking place on leading edge semiconductor processes using the latest industry tools and methodologies.

    As Technical Quality Engineer you will work with the design teams, engineering management, CAD and methodology teams to help ensure that we are constantly improving our processes and working to ensure that we are delivering the highest quality product to our customers


    Responsibilities:
    Defining and maintaining quality procedures for design organization
    Actively participate on the global IP Quality Team
    Work with other parts of the organization to implement improvements to flows and procedures
    Report defect metrics and trends
    Perform Root-Cause-Analysis and identify Corrective Actions
    Assist design teams in preparation of Failure Analysis reports
    Generate and maintain quality metrics
    Maintain quality certifications such ISO9001 and ISO26262
    Monitor and educate the team on correct use of bug tracking systems
    Hold Post-Mortem reviews and summarize and communicate results
    Support participation in external semiconductor foundry quality programs

    The annual salary range for California is $128,100 to $237,900.

    bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
