BigSteelBox - Canada's most diversified shipping container company - is looking for a full-time Accounts
Payable Clerk to join its growing team at the central support office in Kelowna. Subject to employee
suitability and operational requirements, this position allows for a flexible work arrangement with a
combination of work in-office and work from home upon completion of probation.

Starting as soon as possible, this is a permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday, offering a
competitive base salary and an annual incentive scheme. Benefits and an RRSP matching program will be
provided after three months. Occasional overtime may be required.

THE EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Completion of a post-secondary diploma in an accounting program or an equivalent
combination of education, training and experience

Experience with accounting software preferable
1-3 years of related work experience preferable

WHAT YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
Create & manage vendor accounts
Manage, organize, verify and match invoices with corresponding purchase orders
Enter invoices into accounting software using proper G/L code
Post, reconcile and manage payments

Reconcile accounts with monthly vendor statements
Perform semi-monthly cheque runs
Resolve any discrepancies & handle accounts payable inquiries
Other duties as necessary


REQUIRED SKILLS/CORE COMPETENCIES:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Multi-task, organize and work well under pressure
Conscientious & attention to detail is essential
Handle high-volume and repetition
Teachable & a team player

Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel
