POSITION OVERVIEW:
Assignments will vary in length, providing coverage for short-term leaves, special projects or assist with additional workflow.
Reporting to a unit/ section manager, successful applicants will perform moderately complex and diversified clerical work which will require independent judgement and initiative.
Typical duties will include collecting and inputting data; Preparing reports and data summaries; Filing and maintenance of electronic records; Preparing and assisting in assigning classifications or numerical designations to data; Preparing and posting schedules, notices, and charts; Scheduling meetings, and interviews; Posting, maintaining, reconciling, and balancing data; Providing information to others, tracing errors, correcting deviations from policy; Answering inquiries and complaints from the public and staff; Advising others on new or revised procedures and unusual problems; Explaining bureau regulations and procedures; Assisting staff in performing their duties; and Performing other related duties as required.
APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants who are short-listed will be invited to attend a skill testing session for typing, word and/or excel. An accurate typing speed of 45 wpm is required. Only those considered for employment will be contacted for this session.
SPS has a vaccination policy in effect with requirements for all current and future employees.

Education :
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience : 1 year to less than 2 years
