    Responsibilities & Duties
  • Preliminary draft plan of grading, drainage and servicing design plans for land development.
  • Stormwater management system design, analysis and reporting.
  • Manage residential subdivision and site plan developments from preliminary design through construction and assumption.
  • Conceptual, preliminary, and detailed engineering design for various Land Development projects
  • Coordinate with and utilize technical resources within the land development group as project demands.
  • Preparation and review of engineering drawings sets, technical memos, reports, construction plans and specifications.
  • Act as a liaison and coordinator between staff, developer, consultants, municipalities and review agencies to confirm design criteria, address comments and confirm scope of work.
  • Attend and plan construction meetings and track contractor productivity and schedule.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years minimum industry experience
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation is an asset
  • Experience with managing residential subdivision and/or ICI developments
  • Experienced with standard analysis programs, Microsoft Office programs and other associated programs as desired
  • Basic knowledge of site grading, servicing and stormwater management design process.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance.
  • Exhibit strong work ethic and high degree of motivation
  • Experience with writing and reviewing technical reports
