Automotive Service Technician**Kia produces an exciting, leading edge and high quality model line up. Our sales have increased exponentially and we now need an additional technician to keep up with the growing customer base. If you are someone looking for secure, meaningful and long-term employment with room for growth, there's a place for you here at North Shore Kia. We are looking for fully trained Automotive Service Technician to join our Service Department.
Responsibilities:
- Perform repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards and manufacturer specs.
- Testdrive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed while providing accurate estimates of time needed.
- Complete tasks in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
- Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
We're looking for an individual with**:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Government issued automotive service technician license;
- Extremely organized and excellent attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently and as a team;
- Valid BC driver's license with clean abstract;
- At least 1 year of industry experience; and
