Job Description:
Proficient operation of loading equipment to meet daily production targets
Ability to properly dig and maintain a work face, stay on grade while digging and maintain proper bench height
Maintain a safe work environment
Follow company policies and legislative standards
Ability to effectively communicate any hazards or concerns to supervisor
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years as a heavy equipment operator in a mine setting
Surface Miner common core
MTCU modules for bull dozer, hydraulic excavator, front end loader, grader, and haulage truck
Ability to proficiently operate large hydraulic excavators and wheel loaders in a production based setting
Verbal and written proficiency of the English language
DZ license is considered an asset; Class G license at a minimum
