In 1900 The East End Boys Club was founded in Saint John, and would later become the first Boys and Girls Club, and today BGC of Greater Saint John.

Job description
BGC brings out the best potential of every child. Our Clubs offer children a safe, affordable, enriching, and fun place to go after school. We provide challenging activities that encourage healthy living, personal growth, learning, and community involvement.
We build self-esteem through supportive adult mentors and engaging activities that challenge and enrich each child's mind, body, and spirit.
Certifications:
- Current _Workplace_ Standard First Aid/CPR (16hour course);
Preferred Qualifications:
- Enrolled in or have completed a program that deals with child behavioural management or childhood exceptionalities (i.e. Educational Assistant, Early Childhood Education);
- Experience working with children with exceptionalities;
- Knowledge of strategies designed to promote inclusive environments and programs in childcare;
Job Types:
Permanent 20-30 hours/week between the hours of 1 pm and 6 pm, no weekends.
Salary:
$16.90 per hour
