Description

Reporting to the Distribution Manager, the position is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of parts in the distribution center.


This includes but is not limited to:

shipping and receiving, stocking product, inventory management, replenishing, picking and packing, as well as other general duties as required.


Warehouse Associate

Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepares and completes orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
  • Inspects products for defects and report any discrepancies
  • Unloads and moves products and materials by using material handling equipment, ensuring efficient turnaround times
  • Picks customer orders accurately as per RF Gun list and/or manual ordering system, ensuring productivity standards are achieved
  • Operates warehouse vehicles and equipment, as per company policies and procedures
  • Minor inventory control; inspects products for defects and reports any discrepancies to the Distribution Manager
  • Maintains complete knowledge of and comply with organization policies, procedures and standards, as well as all applicable health and safety rules and regulations
  • Keeps a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Performs general warehouse duties as may be required
  • Completion of high school or vocational equivalent
  • Minimum 1year warehousing experience in a similar role
  • Forklift/Power Jack knowledge is considered an asset
  • Proficiency in shipping and inventory software, databases and systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Familiar with RF scanning technology
  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs
  • Ability to bend/crouch, climb stairs, and safely use ladders in order to retrieve materials and products
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written English) skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines
  • Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team
