FIREFLY is seeking a Positive Behaviour Interventionist to work in our Kenora location.
We are looking for an individual with experience in early childhood development and an interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder. The successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively within a team environment, collaborating with professionals such as psychologists, pediatricians, occupational therapists, rehab assistants, dieticians, behaviour therapists, mental health counsellors and others.
This role is responsible for working directly with children/youth who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The Positive Behaviour Interventionist provides evidence-based interventions as outlined in the child's Behaviour Plan. They may also provide Family Services and Supports primarily parent-direct services as part of their role.
