About the Position:
ATS Traffic is currently looking for a Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join our high-functioning HR Team Are you customer-service oriented? Do you approach every situation with a solution focused approach? If so, we want to hear from you

Responsibilities:
Using UKG PRO and READY (timekeeping) program to:
- Process, verify and balance a bi-weekly payroll cycle.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the payroll system, compliance with all applicable provincial legislation.
- Responsible for balancing and submitting statutory deductions, garnishments, RSP deductions, and benefit premiums to providers.
- Process miscellaneous HR related payables including posting all payroll entries and balancing GL Accounts.
- Prepare records of employment.
- Quarterly and yearly balancing of T4 information, RRSP, and benefit statements.
- Calculate and prepare year to date adjustments to ensure the accurate issuance of all T4 and T4A slips.
- Continual improvement and standardization of payroll operations and systems.
- Employee Benefits Administration & Inquiries.
- Benefit administration for all employees, as well as participating in benefit renewal process, negotiation of new plans, and disability management.
- UKG System Administrator, including resetting employee login information and maintaining data integrity.
- Responsible for the payroll liability accounts and reconciliation.
- Bill payment invoices for the benefits plan to the Finance team.
Qualifications:
- Approximately 58 years of payroll and accounting experience is required.
- A valid Payroll Certified Professional (PCP) or Manager (PCM) Designation from the Certified Payroll Association (CPA) is required.
- At least 2 years previous experience using UKG PRO and READY (also known as UltiPro and Kronos) is required.
- Previous use of Great Plains Microsoft Dynamics is a definite asset.
- Previous experience with People Analytics/Power BI/Cognos including creating reports and distributing pay and benefits related metrics to the business.
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office 365: Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
