Retail Sales Associate


Duties:


  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
  • Upsell and crosssell products to maximize sales opportunities
  • Demonstrate product knowledge and answer customer questions
  • Operate the pointofsale (POS) system accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
  • Stock shelves and merchandise products as needed
  • Process customer returns and exchanges

Skills:


  • Multilingual: Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages, including English
  • Upselling: Proven ability to persuade customers to purchase additional products or services
  • Technical Sales: Knowledge of technical products and ability to explain their features and benefits to customers
  • Technology Sales: Familiarity with the latest technology trends and ability to sell related products
  • POS (PointofSale)

System:
Proficiency in operating a cash register and processing transactions accurately

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain an organized work area
  • Basic Math Skills: Competency in performing basic mathematical calculations for cash handling purposes
  • Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service
  • Communication: Clear verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
