Principal Accountabilities:

Ensure safe, timely and satisfactory completion of all mechanical maintenance work
Maintain and improve the plants preventive/predictive maintenance system
Lead problem solving and analyze results of maintenance repairs to ensure plant objectives are met
Maintain a professional relationship by active collaboration with other departments in the plant
Perform miscellaneous jobrelated duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
Must be 18 years or older
Millwright Certification
Practical 'hands on' experience in a manufacturing/agricultural environment
Possess basic knowledge of industrial safety, food safety and environmental regulations with absolute commitment to safety
Selfstarter with ability to work effectively and lead within a team environment
Strong problem solving skills, good written and verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic and a desire to be part of a highperforming team
Knowledge of the Maintenance Reliability process (predictive and preventative maintenance) and Predictive Technologies
Requires rotating oncall weekends, occasional shift rotation, holidays, overtime and additional hours beyond regularly scheduled shift for occasional emergency or planned routine maintenance
Must be able and willing to work from heights, work outside in various weather conditions, inside the plant, in confined spaces, in dusty conditions and in a potentially physically strenuous environment

Preferred Qualifications

Agricultural experience
Automation control, boiler and steam systems training and experience will be considered an asset
Demonstrated computer skills including data entry and data retrieval
Mechanical aptitude to work from all types of blueprints, maintenance manuals, and drawings and the mathematical knowledge required for such work
Forklift operator license
