About the Opportunity:


Working as an integral part of the Ta na wa Shéway I7x̱w ta Úxwumixw Planning and Capital Projects Department, reporting to the Director of Planning and Capital Projects, the Manager, Strategic Projects will assist the Director on a variety of visible projects requiring experience in both long range and development planning; permitting; policy development and governmental relations.

This position will provide project management expertise and support on projects across the Nation.

This role is responsible for the planning, management and delivery of projects, both ongoing and with a definitive start and end date.

The incumbent is organized, adaptable, and uses excellent oral and written communication skills to ensure deadlines are met by project teams.

They are constantly looking for new opportunities to add value for stakeholders, often by improving processes or exceeding objectives. For this role, demonstrated experience and a strong understanding of project management principles is required.

This position will play a key role in developing Departmental strategy and goals and translating those into tangible operational plans.

Salary:
$ 90,464 - $ 102,800 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits program.
