Description
The Position:
The Delivery Driver / Forklift Operator provides support to our Keys Welding Service (KWS) team.
The main duties include locating, moving, stacking, and tracking heavy materials and may include filling orders and interacting with customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for inspecting deliveries, verifying shipments, and loading and unloading goods to be transported.
- Responsible for keeping detailed records of deliveries, mileage, fuel costs, and any issues with the items being delivered.
- Relocate items within the shop yard.
- Operate a forklift or other machinery used for transporting or shipping materials.
- Complete any necessary paperwork accurately.
- Perform all safety checks, including pretrip and posttrip inspection.
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and ensure safety by performing regular maintenance.
- Adhere to safety and compliance regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Valid 5G or better license.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Capability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Attention to detail.
Pay:
From $24.00 per hour
