    As an On-Call Machinist, you will work exclusively at Cirque du Soleil headquarters in Montreal.

    As an On-Call Machinist, you'll benefit from flexibility:

    The On-Call Machinist, under the direction of the Department Manager - Machinery, is responsible for a variety of tasks, including:- Carrying out installations, repairs and inspections in his/her field;- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards;- Collaborate with other areas of the Studio to respond to user requests;- Maintain equipment cleanliness and upkeep;- Participate in taking inventory and updating technical documentation;- Maintain professional relations with specialists in his/her field;- Participate in team meetings and perform other related tasks.

    You possess the following educational, professional, and technical skills:- College diploma in show production or equivalent experience;- Two to four years' experience as a show technician;- Team coordination skills (an asset);- Thorough knowledge of stage techniques;- Communication, adaptation and problem-solving skills;- Good physical condition and ability to work at heights;- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and, preferably, AutoCAD;- Willingness to work flexible hours and ability to use specific equipment such as forklifts or aerial work platforms.
