Department Overview
The Global AML Data Management team is within the Strategies, Solutions and Transformation team within Global AML line of business.
- Support and implement Enterprise Standards and Data Strategy through a number of programs and projects.
- Work in partnership with Global AML business to build, operationalize and support effective and efficient data management and governance in alignment with the Enterprise Data Information Policy and Standards.
- Facilitate execution of the Enterprise Data Management initiatives across Global AML driven by the Enterprise Data Governance Office (EDGO).
- Participate in data related projects and initiatives supporting data analysis, tasks and activities in accordance with the Data Management Operating Model.
- Execute activities for the establishment and ongoing operation of Data Quality Management and Data Issue and Change Governance.
- Support data related regulatory compliance programs.
- Implement and operationalize Data Governance.
Job Details
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global AML Data Management, this position is responsible for providing data expertise, business leadership and leading data governance and data management activities to support large data issues and initiatives impacting the Global AML.
The key accountabilities include:
- Be a key stakeholder for large data issues and initiatives impacting Global AML, ensuring accountabilities related to data in projects are met including related artifacts.
- Analyze and understanding business and data requirements to support projects, including activities such as business rules, datalife cycle management, governance, lineage, metadata and reporting elements.
- Support the Data Strategy including assessing data impacts, creating data flows, completing data analysis and data requirements.
- Work collaboratively with business partners to complete enterprise data & analytics programs and processes in accordance with the enterprise standards and expectations.
- Act as a strategic partner by leading implementations and relationships with key enterprise partners and interfacing with key data providers to effectively manage the line of business acquired data.
- Support business partners and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in understanding data programs and project implementation requirements.
- Support the business line in the activities related to data quality standards for critical data elements.
- Lead, motivate and develop relationships with internal and external business partners to develop productive working relationship.
- Collaborate effectively with partners in Data Governance, other LOB Data Management teams and technology partners.
- Provide timely updates and escalations to senior management and ensure messages to stakeholders are consistent, appropriate and aligned to business strategies.
- Assist with other data strategy & governance related tasks as required.

- Knowledge and understanding of the TDBG's Data Program would be considered an asset.
