Description
The Systems Administrator is responsible for performing technical functions in the maintenance and support of the corporation's computer networks, related IT technology and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, maximum productivity, and minimal downtime.
Responsible for implementing and overseeing the overall activities required for effective and efficient information technology and information management to support the attainment of the Company's business objectives. Providing overall desktop/device support and ongoing maintenance of infrastructure.
In addition, you will support the IT manager with planning, developing, configuring, monitoring, and organizing the network systems, security solutions, cloud, data centers, servers, and telecom.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Infrastructure/Network design, implementation, cyber security, and support.
Configuration and support of Enterprise servers, switches, desktops, workstations, and laptops.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues including but not limited to workstation/server hardware and software, routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
Configure, install, and maintain IT users' desktop software and hardware.
Provide support on server-related problems.
Manage service delivery with detailed ticketing and time tracking, including description of problem, work performed and resolution
Other duties may be added as defined.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of IT experience
Excellent knowledge and experience in Windows Servers, Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Exchange, SharePoint, One Drive ,PowerBI, VEEAM and Cisco VOIP and Cisco switches.
Experience in managing IT infrastructure, servers, computer networks, network administration and installation of Vmware, HPE Servers and Nimble SAN.
Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Azure systems and Support of Virtual Desktop setup with fslogix.
Strong knowledge of API calls
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications
Knowledge of computer peripherals and ability to diagnose problems
Good experience in computer repair and deployment with SCCM. Windows 10/11
Ability to create SCCM package software.
Experience with Palo Alto firewall configuration and network security protocols
Understanding of LAN/WAN networks and troubleshooting connectivity issues
Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
Self-motivated, resulted-driven and detail-oriented
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
A valid driver's license
